We manage our environmental impact through established management systems and formal reporting frameworks. We have held ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Systems) certification since 2019, which provides a structured approach to managing environmental risks, improving resource efficiency and supporting continuous improvement in our day-to-day operations.
To strengthen our understanding of our environmental impact, we work with an external climate impact consultancy to support more comprehensive measurement of our carbon footprint aligned with recognised international standards. This insight helps inform our approach and identify opportunities for improvement. We also meet relevant regulatory reporting requirements, including participation in the Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS) and Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR).
Environmental awareness is supported through our Environment Committee, which brings colleagues together from across our firm to encourage sustainable behaviours and promote engagement through education, awareness-raising activities and volunteering initiatives.

Howard Kennedy is ISO 14001 certified by British Assessment Bureau Limited, a UKAS Accredited Certification Body number 8289 for its Environmental Management System (EMS).
